눈 주위에 경련있어 환자가 내원했다
Patient : I have felt the area around my eye twitching uncontrollably. That's weird. Doctor(눈 주위에 경련이 있는데 이상해요 선생님)
Isn't it the first sign of a stroke? (뇌졸증의 첫 증상이 아닌가요?).
Doctor : Eye twitching and eyelid tics are common involuntary spasms(눈이나 눈꺼풀 경련은 자주 일어나는 자발적인 경련입니다).
They come and go all the time( 항상 생겼다가 없어지곤 합니다).
Patient : My eye twitching is lasting about 2 weeks(눈경련이 2주 동안 지속되었습니다).
Doctor : Sometimes, it can last for months at a time(한 번에 몇 달 동안 가는 경우도 있습니다).
Patient : Why is it happening?(왜 생기는 것이죠?).
Doctor : There are many reasons(이유가 많습니다).
Stress, tiredness, too much alcohol·allergies·caffeine·overuse of computer or smart phone and so on. (스트레스나 피곤함·술을 많이 드시거나·카페인·컴퓨터나 스마트폰을 너무 사용하는 등 여러 가지입니다).
Patient : How to stop it?(어떻게 멈추게 하죠).
Doctor : It's quite difficult to treat(치료하기는 힘이 듭니다).
But sudden-onset eye twitching is benign. There is nothing to worry about(갑자기 생긴 눈 경련은 가벼운 것이므로 그리 걱정하실 필요 없습니다).
If you are tired, get some rest. Reduce the stress, drink more water, less caffeine and alcohol and try to relax. (피곤하면 좀 쉬세요. 스트레스를 줄이고, 물을 더 마시고, 카페인이나 술을 덜 먹고 릴렉스 하세요).
