수술후 회복 과정에 있는 환자와의 대화
Patient : When can I eat?(언제 먹을 수 있죠?).
Doctor : You are allowed to eat when the stomach and intestines begin to function again(위와 장의 기능이 돌아오면 먹을 수 있습니다).
Patient : Would I be able to eat solid food?(고형식을 먹을 수 있나요?).
Doctor : The first meal is a clear liquid diet(처음 식사는 깨끗한 죽입니다).
If you tolerate this meal, the next meal usually is a regular diet(이 음식을 먹고 괜찮으면 정상적인 음식이 나올 것입니다).
Patient : Can I walk?(걸을 수 있나요?).
Doctor : Yes. You can walk(네. 걸을 수 있습니다).
Actually movement is good for you(사실 움직이는 것이 당신에게 좋습니다).
Resume your normal physical activities as soon as possible(가능한 빨리 걷고 정상적인 활동을 시작하세요).
You can move around as much as you like(당신이 하고 싶은 만큼 돌아다녀도 됩니다).
Patient : When can I be discharged from the hospital?(언제 병원에서 퇴원할 수 있죠?).
Doctor : You will be discharged from the hospital within 7 days after the operation(수술 후 7일 이내에 퇴원할 수 있을 것입니다).
And you are able to be back to your normal activities within 2 weeks(그리고 2주 이내에 정상 생활로 돌아 갈 수 있을 것입니다).
Patient : When can I play sports again?(언제 다시 스포츠를 할 수 있죠?).
Doctor : You are able to return to enjoy sports within four weeks after the operation(당신은 수술 후 4주 이내에 정상적인 스포츠를 즐길 수 있을 것입니다).
